Few things irk me more than running across a “me too” website that steals my content without so much as a link back. This site was caught lifting this article from BigBlueBall verbatim, including a hotlink to an image I created and host.
I’d send a complaint letter to their hosting service, but their identity is concealed. A WHOIS inquiry yeilded the following information:

Any suggestions on how to combat this?

It seems he’s got a credit link back to BigBlueBall at the end of the article, perhaps he just added it? I don’t think there is much you can do about this except add protection against your images being used outside of the bigblueball.com domain. Kind of a pain though I’m sure.
I don’t see a huge problem with using an article from another source as long as credit is given where it’s due. It has the possibility of directing traffic to your site (assuming credit is given properly). However, the image stealing is not cool. At the very least they should be hosting the images on their own server, not stealing your bandwidth.
I think this is one of those things that just aren’t worth the effort. A complaint to the owner if possible about the credit, but otherwise, its just a shitty little wordpress blog using its default template. I don’t think it’s going to go to far at this point. I can see how it can irk you, but I guess that once you get to a certain level, the clones will appear! I’d take it as a compliment.
But I’d still change the url of your image just to get the point across about the image stealing. 🙂

Yeah heh. Change the image URL, just to show that you are not kind to people steeling content.

To their credit, they have added credit and a link to BigBlueBall. We’ll be watching you…

DRM? You’re kidding, right?
I would rather suffer an occasional lifted article before I’d impose DRM on anyone!
