Earlier this month I picked up my first digital camera. It’s a Fujifilm Finepix A210 3 MP camera, and does a nice job at point-and-shoot photography.
I’ve always liked the outdoors, and appreciate the beauty of nature. The camera makes it convenient to capture those moments of reflection and contemplation. Such as a sunset at El Capitan State Park along California’s central coast.
Most people may not care, nor bother to stop and smell the roses. Just remember, applying yourself purposefully is important, but keep the balance.

Well, I just saw your post about smelling the roses. My wife and I did just that — we bought a motorhome and travelled the continent for a year.
From New England to Florida to California to Alaska. We visited the Northern most point in the US (Point Barrow, Alaska), the southern most point in the continental US (Key West, Florida),
The highest point (Mt. Mickinley (flew around it, didn’t climb it)) The lowest point (Death Valley, CA) We got very far west in Hawaii (flew there, too) and of course we live in the east.
We drove 36,000 miles (26,000 in the motorhome, 10,000 in the dinghy) flew another 12,000 give or take.
We took a million pictures, I’ve posted a few hundred, (somewhat) categorized.

The roses smell wonderful!
